By accessing and using Electrical Takeoff Software ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Electrical Takeoff Software is a software-as-a-service platform for electrical contractors that turns PDF construction plans into priced takeoff summaries. The Service includes AI-assisted symbol detection on real plans, automatic legend parsing, the review-first takeoff editor, and branded PDF / Excel export. New accounts include a 30-day free trial; subscriptions are $49 / month after the trial.
To use our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree not to use the Service to:
By uploading files to our Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your files for the purpose of providing the takeoff editor, the features you use, and improving the Service. We do not claim ownership of your files.
Your PDFs and annotations are stored privately on our object storage (Cloudflare R2). Only members of your account — and the people you explicitly share a project with — can view them.
By creating an account and uploading files to the Service, you consent to our use of your uploaded PDFs and your annotations to train and improve our AI symbol-detection and takeoff features. This training use is part of, and inseparable from, your use of the Service. If you do not agree to this use, do not upload files to the Service.
Training use is internal to Electrical Takeoff Software: we do not sell your plans or annotations, and individual files are not made publicly accessible. See the privacy policy for full details on what is included, how it is processed, and your data-deletion rights.
Our Service operates on a subscription basis. Payment is due in advance for each billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues beyond our control.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Electrical Takeoff Software and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
In no event shall Electrical Takeoff Software be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
